The center will open Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 4701 Virginia Beach Blvd., Suite 210. This opening is the first of four new Hampton Roads emergency centers to open in 2018. Other locations will be available soon in Suffolk (Village Centerbrooke ); Norfolk (corner of the wing); and Hickman Place on Red Mill / Nimmo Parkway, Virginia Beach.

The Virginia Beach Town Center offers a MyWegmansConnect unprecedented selection of over 4 million square feet of retail, restaurant, saloon, and office space for residents and visitors. If you get hurt or sick while enjoying great downtown amenities, high-quality healthcare is just minutes away.
Velocity Urgent Care provides licensed professionals with the visits they need to treat minor illnesses and injuries that require immediate attention but are not serious enough for MyWegmansConnect emergencies. Each speed emergency center is equipped to treat cold and flu symptoms, coughs, earaches, headaches, sprains, strains, tears, small cuts, scratches, and skin rashes. Services also include on-site radiographs and general laboratory tests. Most insurance policies are accepted, but there is the option to pay without surprises and for those without insurance.
With the purchase of seven Sentara Emergency Centers in Hampton Roads in December 2017, Velocity Urgent Care is helping to fill the market and provide incredible convenience and access for consumers. The new location at Virginia Beach Town Center is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Most patients are in and out in less than 45 minutes, but Velocity emergency centers are equipped with free Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks for added convenience.
